How to Download the App and Activate Your Account

For Builder Users responsible for keeping homeowners informed. Learn how to access the app and activate your account so you can start sending updates.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. From Your Mobile Device, Check Your Inbox for the Welcome Email
    When a Builder Admin creates an App User/Builder User, a welcome email is triggered to the user's email address. The email will be from Builder Signal with the subject line, 'Welcome to Builder Signal.'
  2. Download and Open the Builder Signal Mobile App
    The Welcome Email includes links to the App Store and Google Play. Download and open the Builder Signal Mobile App.
  3. Activate Account
    From the Welcome screen, click Activate Account and enter your email address. Then Continue. A confirmation email will be delivered to your inbox to set your Password.
  4. Set Your Password
    Open the confirmation email from Builder Signal with the subject line, Activate Your Account.  Set your Password following the on-screen requirements. After confirming your password, click the arrow button (>) to continue.  You will receive an on-screen message 'Your password has been reset successfully.'

Common Issues:

  • Didn't Receive the Welcome Email?
    Start by checking you Spam or Junk folder, as email services providers may occasionally misroute emails. If you still can't find your Welcome Email, reach out to your Builder Admin to ensure you are set up as an App User with your correct email address.
  • Can't Set Your Password or Getting an Error Message?
    Ensure you click the Activate Account button to establish your account initially and create your password.  If you mistakenly click the Sign In button, an error messages indicating your account cannot be found.  Your credentials will only work with the Sign In button after you've successfully set your password.
  • Not Seeing Homes on your Mobile App Dashboard?
    Homes will only show up on your dashboard if they have been assigned to you and are marked as Active. If you see homes listed, it means they have been assigned and ready for you to update. If a home you're responsible to update is not on your dashboard, contact a Builder Admin to have it assigned to you and ensure it is marked as Active.
