R_How to Monitor Your Team's Updates

For Builder Admins wanting to monitor how frequently their team is updating Homeowners, ensuring everyone is meeting the set schedule for updates you've established (weekly, bi-weekly, etc.).

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Log into the Builder Signal Dashboard as a Builder Admin
Ensure you’re logged into the web application with your admin credentials. Only Builder Admins can view the dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the Home Management Page
Go to the drop-down Menu in the upper-right hand corner of the screen and click Homes.
  3. Sort by the Last Updated Column
View the timing of the most recent update for every home. Use the "up" and "down" arrows to sort from newest to oldest (down arrow) or oldest to newest (up arrow). By default the Last Updated column is sorted from the newest to oldest.
  4. Use Filters to Narrow Your Results
Apply the Community filter to show results for a specific Community. To assess individual performance, utilize the App User filter. When this filter is applied, all homes linked to that user will be shown. Occasionally, the name you selected might not appear in the App User column. This occurs when multiple users are linked to the same home, but only one name can be displayed. Rest assured, the user you selected is indeed one of the users assigned to that home.
  5. Download Your Results as a CSV
To explore the data further or customize it, you can download the results as a spreadsheet (.csv). Go to the Home Management drop-down menu located in the upper right corner of Builder Signal. Click on Reports, then select Detailed Homes Report. You have two choices: Export Filtered Homes to CSV (if filters are applied) or Export All Homes to CSV to include all homes in the spreadsheet. The file will contain the homeowner's name, address, community, app user name, date created, number of updates made, and the date of the most recent update.

Common Issues:

  • Only One User Shown When Multiple Users are Assigned?
For each home, only one App User name will be shown in your csv, even if multiple users are assigned. To address this, try using the Community filter and use the Export Filtered Homes to CSV. You can also use the App User filter and export those filtered results. Even if the name you filtered by doesn't appear in the App User field of the spreadsheet, rest assured that the user you selected is indeed one of the users assigned to that home.
